Embedded Streaming Video Solutions

The streaming video wall range from BlueBox are custom industrial hardware platforms sourced from long life industrial grade embedded components. The customised appliance provides a resistant enclosure for physical durability, thermal optimization and reduced power consumption. The appliances are in a compact 2U form factor and both desk and rack mountable.

Hot plug emulation, EDID emulation and active hardware re-drivers are supplied on all Displayport outputs for cable lengths up to 20 metres.

All streaming video wall appliances from BlueBox are provided with a software SDK and TCP networking interface to open and position a variety of video stream encoded formats in addition to web pages with support for saving and recalling layouts.

All BlueBox products are designed and built in Europe.

Eight1080

The Eight1080 platform from BlueBox provides a high definition, compact multimedia appliance with recording options for 24/7 command and control surveillance environments. Equipped with 8 True HD outputs, the Eight1080 simplifies traditional video wall systems by reducing footprint to a powerful, single condensed 2U appliance. Combined CPU and GPU technologies present users with a generic hardware platform for choice of application. The Eight1080 allows video to be received from the network, local disk or via PCIe. Users can action the latest graphics technologies to provide an unrestricted video layout design under a familiar Windows platform.

The Eight1080 can be configured for multiple output arrangements using DisplayPort.

An Eight1080 appliance is optionally supplied with the latest Windows 10 Pro operating system installed and configured. Interfaces including DirectX and OpenGL allow user applications to leverage hardware acceleration technology found within the appliances latest generation i7 desktop processor. Intel Quick Sync framework currently supports H265, H264, MPEG2, MJPEG, VC-1 and VP8 hardware video acceleration. The multimedia appliance is capable of decoding and displaying 26 1080p at 25 FPS H264 video IP streams. The Eight1080 combines decode, display and recording of IP camera video streams into a single appliance.

The standard AMD Eyefinity driver permits bezel compensation and non-rectangular synchronised screen combinations through 45 degrees.
